Daisy Chain Nursery Crawley

For Children Aged 3 Months to 5 Years.

Daisy Chain Nursery, in Crawley, is based across 2 sites which are 100 metres apart. One site is a dedicated facility for children under 3 and the other is focussed on children over 3 and therefore preparing them in readiness for school. This means that we are able to devote special attention in each location to ensure your child settles in the right environment and gets the perfect mix of care, development and fun!

The two sites, (officially registered with Ofsted as Daisy Chain and Baby Daisy Chain) aim to meet the Early Years Outcomes and Statutory Framework issued by the Department of Education. Our current Ofsted Ratings for Daisy Chain is GOOD and for Baby Daisy Chain is OUTSTANDING in all areas.

We understand how important it is for you to feel confident about where your child is going to spend their time. Our staff aim to get to know individual children extremely well. In this way, they can then provide an environment that is suitable for each child, whatever their needs. Some of our staff are parents themselves so fully understand what it is like to be leaving your child with someone else and we are passionate about reassuring you that we will do the best for your child.

Over the years, we have developed the nursery and used our experience and feedback from parents and visitors to help us do this. We have extensive experience in meeting the needs of young children and their families, and work hard at keeping the contact between us all close. We are confident in meeting your own and your child’s very individual needs.

We plan the environment around the inspiration of ‘Reggio Emilia’. Within this we aim to provide exciting learning opportunities for children to use all their natural creative skills. This is done through a range of activities including music, artistic and creative materials, sensory equipment, all of which allow the children to explore and investigate using all their senses.

Children need to be nurtured and learn through play. Every child is allocated a key-worker, and this practice establishes a sense of both security and safety within which the child can develop and learn. We respect the individual needs and abilities of each child in our care, adopting a child-centred ethos and following a set of principles principles linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage.
